World Environment Day 2025

On World Environment Day 2025, Green Diversity Foundation mobilized volunteers, schools, and community leaders across Ghana for a coordinated day of environmental action.

Activities included large-scale tree planting, plastic waste collection in urban waterways, and awareness sessions on sustainable living. The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to restoring ecosystems and empowering youth and women to lead environmental stewardship in their communities.

GDF Africa calls on all citizens to adopt daily habits that protect our forests, freshwater bodies, and public spaces — because a greener today means a greener forever.
